Grateful Moment

This page and my webpage

It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of modern life. People drive fast. Talk fast. Live fast. Rushing around in a hurry. Especially drivers, getting ahead and in front of those perceived to be slower. Cutting in front into a small gap instead of slowing and falling into a large gap, drivers create unsafe gaps. For what? To get one car ahead. Madness.

I’ve taken a few minutes to admire the view, relax my mind and remind myself of the many things in life to be grateful for. There are so many. Taking a few moments to reflect with quiet gratitude is like prayer or meditation. Very calming and very satisfying, like tapping into a free resource that others ignore or are unaware of. Just a few breaths, a pause and a few positive thoughts to start the day is a habit I will try to continue.
