That term used by POTUS to describe US troops in Syria is wrong. The evidence of that is the terrible massacre and open warfare after the recent withdrawal of US military forces from northern Syria.
The list of entities benefiting from our exit is long and disturbing. Turkey, Syria, Russia, ISIS, Iran. This has become a foreign policy disaster that will reverberate for a long time.
