POTUS sees the world through his mind. His belief is that everyone everywhere has his morals and motivations. People acting with altruism, morals and patriotism only mystify him. His view of events and his account of the events should be proof enough of his innocence. But good intent does not allow or excuse all actions. Especially acts and speech that are illegal, immoral and super harmful to our country’s interests.
That’s how crazy works.
