They say the Economy is in great shape. The stock market value of listed companies is high. Capital is in good shape. Nice.
But at the same time 70% of Americans report financial difficulties.
Climate and life on the planet are threatened at best. Doomed at worst.
Measures of success do not tell the whole story. Individual measures of success might only indicate neglect of other values. Household’s financial security. Individual’s financial well being. Health and happiness measures are absent or ignored. Planetary health is absent or ignored.
Capitol wins. Humanity is losing.
