Yosemite National Park 1998
Hodgeden Meadow campground in Yosemite National Park.  It is June, sunny and warm.  Tonight though we cook dinner under an umbrella and our campfire sputters under the rain.  The lightening and thunder are spectacular.  Many of our fellow campers pack up and disappear in the night.
Big tent, 10 feet by 10 feet.  An air mattress keeps us off the wet seepage overnight.
This is a view of upper Yosemite Falls from the trail the starts on the valley floor and goes to the top.
Looking down you get a different perspective of the falls.
The water turns into a snowy white spray as it falls through the air.  The view and the sound is impressive.
The sky today is crystal clear.  This view is from the north rim of Yosemite valley looking across the valley to the south.
At the top of Yosemite Falls there is a bridge across the creek.
The views from the top are very nice.
Resting at the top, Lou and I pose for a picture.
